My research explores issues related to class, race, and American criminal justice. I study how political and ideological constructions of criminality have been embedded into law and policy in ways that reflect and reproduce social, economic, and racial inequalities in U.S. society. I have published on law, punishment, and American political development in Political Research Quarterly, nonsite, Studies in American Political Development, LSE's U.S. Politics and Policy Blog, and Common Dreams.

I can be reached via email at [email protected] or phone at 856-225-2970.
